Sue Matteucci

I have had the pleasure of being the Preschool Director and Preschool Teacher for the past 25 years at Good Shepherd Catholic School. The best part of my job is that our children always make me feel special. Seeing things through the eyes of a child reminds me everyday how blessed I am to have the privilege of working with your children. Who gets to go to work and be the best at everything she does, sing, dance, read and write in the wonder of the eyes of a child? No matter what I do the children think it’s great. I must be the luckiest person in the world. I live my passion.

I hold my Master Teacher Credential, my Director Credentials and a full Catechist Certificate. Education is very important to me so I continue to take classes to keep up on what’s new. I have been chosen to be a mentor Teacher for First 5 of Santa Cruz County.

 I have lived in Santa Cruz all my life and feel very fortunate to live in such an amazing area. I have a wonderful husband, Paul, of 35 years who attended the first graduating class at Good Shepherd. Together we own the Arrow Citrus Produce company that keeps Paul very busy. We have a beautiful daughter, Lizzie, who attended Good Shepherd from Preschool thru 8th grade. Lizzie is now attending college to become a Surgical Nurse. We are very proud of her. We are very blessed to have had our foundation start at Good Shepherd Catholic School.
