Shannon McLeod

I received my B.A. in Sociology from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. I have completed one year of coursework towards a Masters of Theology from Saint Mary of the Woods, Indiana, and I am currently working on an Early Childhood Education certificate at UCSC.

Prior to becoming a teacher I worked with youth and families in the social service field for 15 years, specializing in working with children with learning differences, ADHD and other special needs.

I have been married for 10 years and have two children, who both attend Good Shepherd. We are members of Resurrection Parish, where I am also the Confirmation Coordinator.

I enjoy working at Good Shepherd School for many reasons. I believe in the school’s philosophy and I have many supporting colleagues. I appreciate the open and supportive administration, and I love being a part of the close community which has become my second family.
