I
was born and raised in New Jersey. A
little over a year ago my husband
and I decided to move to Santa Cruz,
believing that its colorful culture
and community is a great place to
raise our family. This will be my
first year teaching at Good Shepherd
Catholic School as the Pre-K after
school teacher.
When I decided to
return to college my
heart led the way to major in
Education. I have always wanted to
be a teacher and I love working with
children and being a part of the
community. For two years I worked as
a Teachers' Aide in a Pre-K 4
classroom and received my mentoring
classes there as well. I graduated
from Saint Peter's College in August
2009 with a Bachelors' degree in Elementary
Education and Interdisciplinary
Studies. After graduating, I worked
as an Infant Teacher for a private
daycare until moving to California.
I truly believe in our children and
that they will thrive in a positive,
safe and supportive environment.
That's what I thrive to accomplish
in my classroom.
